My Rating: 4 1/2 Sassy Tiger Stars

My Review: Let me just say.. LOVE the cover, it totally goes with the story and it's just beautiful. I'd like to thank Splinter & Colleen Houck for sending an ARC for the tour in exchange for my honest review. Also would like to thank JeanBookNerd for including us in this amazing tour.

Wow! I finished Tiger's Voyage last night and was so happy to be able to dive right into the next book. I finished this in one day, which for me having 3 children it's like...wow LOL! Since this version doesn't have the ending, I've only rated it 4 1/2 stars cause I never got to finish the full story. I've been left hanging, I NEED to find out the end!! ;-)

Colleen has weaved her magic once again with a riveting story. You find yourself getting caught up with the lives of Kelsey, Ren, Kishan & Mr Kadam once again. The research that has gone in to these books is just amazing, the descriptions of the places we're taken to will truly make you feel like your there with the characters, it's like a movie playing in your head. Oh, the adventures we're taken on I'm still reeling from the experience.

I have to admit I was becoming VERY frustrated with a certain Miss Kelsey, she just made my blood boil with not being able to choose between the brothers. Having two brothers madly in love with you wouldn't be that bad, seriously lol. She needed to make a choice and she seemed to have forced herself to go the safe root pretty much, not thinking that in the long run she's probably causing more damage to the boys. In my opinion, I felt she needed some alone time just a single Kelsey helping out two brothers until she truly knew where her heart is. Anyway..... lol

I found myself in tears, laughter, anger and even reading with a smile plastered on my face. If your up for something new and exciting than check out these books, they truly will leave you burning for more.

  2. Don't tell about Kelsey... I'm totally freaking with the three books, and I imagine that I would feel the same as you... Why can she just pick Ren...? People like too much of safety roads... I'm more like the girl who jumps in an adventure, and I totallt would do this for Ren ;P

  3. Thank you for one of the BEST Tiger’s Curse book reviews I have read. I enjoyed this review very much. As you do, I like the way Colleen crafts a story. I appreciate the effort she puts in doing the research for the story backdrop. I sometimes feel like I’m reading a travel guide that just happens to be a novel about two hunk-a-liscious brothers with a centuries old animagus curse and the young girl, who becomes a woman during the treacherous, fraught with romantic angst journey they are all on as they seek an end to their tasks set before them by an ancient mythical Goddess who provides them with a multitude of gifts and blessings. (whew . . . now I’m all out of breath!) But from all the reviews I have read (written by those privileged enough to receive an ARC . . . may I say :sigh: . . . lucky duckies!) the state of being “out-of-breath” is something I am going to have to become used to.

And the book jacket . . .The Phoenix . . . so gorgena! The whole package . . . well crafted tale, smashingly goodlooking book jacket, gracious and generous author. What more could a starving-for-more, when-can-I-have-a-fix, give-it-to-me-now Tiger’s Curse FAN-atic want? I ask ya, What? The next volume, NOW . . . please? (patience . . . must have . . . patience!) :sigh: and again :sigh:

Thank you Colleen and Sterling Books for the Blog Tour donations and to Jean Vallesteros of Jean BookNerd Blog for hosting and putting together the Tiger’s Destiny Blog Tour. Really looking forward to the chance at winning one of your amazing Tiger's prize packs! Good Luck all you Tiger FAN-atics!
