Blurb- When private investigator Lana Parker follows a dangerous biker into an underground sex club, James Hunter is the last man she expects to see. But there he is, all dark looks and chiseled charms, ready to break her heart all over again.

Danger is the name of the game for an undercover cop. And the last thing James wants is for the fiery beauty to come anywhere near the notorious biker gang he's trying to take down. Yet Lana has no intention of giving up her case, which means he'll have to keep her close to keep her safe. A risky proposition-especially when their blazing sexual chemistry reignites an unforgettable passion.

But when a dark terror emerges from the past, Lana goes on the run...and James gives up everything to save her. Backed into a corner, Lana must face her fears, including the one thing that frightens her most...her overwhelming feelings for the man whose searing glance sparks her most hidden desires, the man she should not trust, but cannot resist.

Warning: The book contains violence, explicit sex, light bondage, heavy swearing, motorcycle sexy times, bad-ass biker naughty times, and an exceptionally hot hero who will get down and dirty anywhere but under the covers.

 5 Sassy Books!

Review- There is something you should know about me. I am a sucker for long hair, facial scruff, badass, overprotective sexy characters and in Barely Undercover I got everything I could want delivered by the crazy talented Sarah Castille.

The blurb pretty much covers the main storyline but what it doesn't cover is intensity of it. The characters are intense and full of depth and oh so smoking hot. Sarah took her time with exposing the characters and their pasts, making sure to keep me hooked with a need to want to know more about them. Especially James (Ice), SWOON! What a hunk! I need me one of him! Brooding, strong, LONG HAIR, FACIAL SCRUFF, add in some biker leather and the most intense personality and you have some seriously damp panties.

The story itself was full on and in a good way. It was full of realistic and dramatic biker gang related scenes that are so raw and unbridled, even scarey is some parts. From drug and gun smuggling to kidnapping and the mishandling of women, it sure made for addictive and entertaining reading.

Sarah delivered toe curling, shiver making, underwear soaking sex scenes so hot and intense that I thought the pages would combust in front of me. Lana and James' relationship was sizzling and full of depth which I loved reading because I felt the emotion behind it. It wasn't just another book romance full of sex and no emotion.

Barely Undercover had me addicted from start to finish, absorbed with every word and if you love an action packed, no barriers, steaming hot read then you will be too!

Blurb- Even after years of trauma therapy, Peyton still believes she’s broken. She has little desire to date or show off her natural beauty, content simply to hang out with her best friends and run her pie shop in New Orleans. But her world turns upside-down when a handsome architect and self-confessed player shows up in her shop and thinks she’s perfect, much more than the usual hook-up. While Peyton does her best to resist his charms, believing she could never be enough for him, she can’t deny the obvious heat between them. With Reed determined to have her, Peyton must decide whether to continue to hide behind her apron and baggy clothes or take a chance and share her scars with Reed, a man with a playboy reputation and scars of his own -- a dark past he can’t possibly share with Peyton, not after learning the horrors she’s endured. But if they can find a way to trust each other, and themselves, they just might be able to heal, to save each other, to live perfectly broken together.

 4 Sassy Books!

Review- Perfectly Broken is a story of overwhelming heartache and trauma and fighting to overcome the nightmares that haunt Peyton on a daily basis. When Reed comes along, Peyton's world is thrown upside down and she is forced to face her demons head on. She is forced to open herself to learn to trust again and to be loved which she doesn't think she deserves.

Prescott Lane delivers a story that is raw and emotional with a storyline that is sure to capture it's reader. It was touching and brought out so many feelings and emotions in myself as a reader, which is so important. I found myself going from happy to sad and at times found myself frustrated and anxious. I fell in love with the realistic characters which had unique and different personalities. I also loved the true and honest friendships Prescott created between the characters.

While the writing style could use a tweaking here and there, Prescott sure has a promising future as a really great author.

Review- Heart Break Proof by William Goode & Michelle Roy

Title- Heart Break Proof
Author- William Goode & Michelle Roy
Genre- Adult Fiction
Release Date- 6th of September 2013
Publisher- WildBirds Publishing
GOODREADS

Review copy provided by the author.

Blurb- When Marie finally wrote back to Andrew, he truly learned how words can seduce, corrupt and inflame. The stories Marie and Andrew now make up, trading e-mails, consume them. They begin a passionate affair, and their deepening obsession with each other penetrates their writing. Then the stories take over and change everything. Oh, and the bit with the shoe is freaking wild. Fun, well-told, intelligent and absorbing, Heart-Break-Proof is about words that bind tighter than any rope. (Actually, there are ropes in this book too. But mainly words). So, be careful what you read. For a free preview of Heart-Break-Proof (first 3 chapters), check out http://heartbreakproof.com

 2 Sassy Books!

Review- I don't think I have too many good things to say about Heart Break Proof. The storyline of Marie and Andrew's relationship that consists mostly of erotic emails between them was at times quite jumpy and confusing. I would finish one of the "emails" and be totally confused as to where I was within the story, for example, when I finished a particular email and heading into the next chapter, they were in a relationship outside of emails and he was doing errands for her and getting upset about finding letters from other men in her closet. How did that happen? Did I miss something?

The emails themselves were simply, ok. They were quite raunchy and I am sure they would touch base with a lot of people fantasies.

The writing wasn't great either. It too was a little jumpy and didn't make sense sometimes. In short, it does need work.

Heart Break Proof has a great concept behind it and could be made so much better with proper planning, structure and delivery.

 4 Sassy Books!

Review- HEADS UP- If you are not open to man on man action then this is not the book for you.

So this is the first ever adult book that I have read that has been man on man and even though it's not anything I am into or would usually read, as an overall story it was pretty good.

We start off with Ethan and his colleague David with their delayed flight resulting in them having to spend the night in a nearby hotel. With an unspoken attraction already forming between them, what happens while they are stranded is sure to get pulses racing.

Sarah O'Rourke does not disappoint with the easy to follow storyline and well descriptive intimate scenes that leave nothing to the imagination. So if you're looking for a quick read that's daring, sexually intense and heated, and you don't mind some same sex action then this one is perfect for you.

And while it won't be to everyone's taste, including mine, all readers should be able to put the stereotyping aside and praise Sarah for her talented writing skills.

Review- Client No.5 by Joy Fulcher

Title- Client No.5
Author- Joy Fulcher
Genre- Adult Fiction
Release Date- 7th of January 2014
Publisher- Omnific Publishing
GOODREADS

Review copy provided by publisher.

Blurb- Ally loves her job. She makes good money, has great work friends, and lives in the best city in the world.

Sure, being an upscale escort has its downfalls. The sex is usually bad, and it’s always about satisfying the client’s needs, not one’s own. But Ally didn’t end up in this business for lack of other opportunities. She’s good at what she does and is proud she can command a high price for it. What Ally really gets out of it, though, is a sense of freedom, of power and control that she severely lacks in her private life. She’s closed off from everyone around her, including herself.

Everything gets thrown into chaos, however, when she gets the call for a new client, her fifth of the night. Scott Walker is different. He’s a young go-getter executive accustomed to getting whatever he wants. And ultimately he doesn’t want Ally’s body; he wants her heart. But that’s the one thing she refuses to give up.

Ally is forced to make the hardest decision of her life: to stay in her comfort zone or step outside it for someone who might just be worth the risk.

5 Sassy Books!

Review- Joy Fulcher is a woman who definitely has a way with words. I read this bad boy within a matter of about 4 hours which I wouldn't have been able to do without Joy's ability to blend words so naturally as well as the entertaining and easy to follow storyline. I also love that Joy is descriptive but doesn't dwell on it. There is nothing worse than reading about how a room is set out and all of the colours in it for about 3 paragraphs (just an example). She is quick and to the point with what and where the scene is happening then straight back to the story. She has that perfect amount of description.

The storyline follows Ally and all of the sexual experiences she encounters being one of the top prostitutes in New York. Some are an absolute hoot to read and some may soak your panties. Scenes throughout the book range from fetish lovers all the way to orgies and love making, all surprisingly enjoyable to read. I found myself getting antsy over scenes that I wouldn't normally get antsy over! I found them tastefully written and realistic and so well descriptive, which is so important in those types of scenes.

The characters I just loved! They were realistic, relateable, quirky and unique. And even though they were shagging the majority of the time, I found them loveable, funny, intense and full of emotion. I especially loved Ally and Scott's relationship. While it was a rather quick forming relationship, it was believable. There wasn't any of that unrealistic intense love right off the bat.

So if you're looking for an adult fiction that has it all, plus some, then this is for you!

I don't have any buy links at this stage but check out the following links to connect with Joy to keep updated:

Don't forget to mark the 7th of January for Client No.5!
