Blurb:
People call me all sorts of names—bad girl, black sheep, and my all-time favorite...Satan’s bride. I could blame the fact I’m a witch for my behavior, but the truth is I’m infuriating, arrogant, and stab-worthy.
Alex Remington is a hunter and everything I’m not—righteous, honest, caring. We used to have a thing, but that was before he learned I’m a witch and tried to kill me.
Eighteen months later, he’s back in my life and we have a deal; I’ll help him save his brother and he’ll disappear from my life for good. But karma can be a real bitch…

Excerpt
I hand him the glass. “We’re back to spitting insults, hm? What is this, Alex’s nine circles of booze hell?”
He pulls me toward him, and suddenly I find myself in his lap, straddling him. “No, but since going to hell is inevitable,” he says, his lips brushing the spot between my two ladies. “I might as well enjoy the ride.”
I keep telling myself he’s drunk. Doesn’t change the fact that I want to unzip his freaking jeans, though. “You’re out of your mind if you think I’m screwin’ you, Alex.”
“Am I?” He runs his thumbs over my bra, turning my nipples into rocks. “Then why does your heart beat like the overheated engine of my Mustang?”
“It does not,” I insist.
He pushes up, and his hard-on presses against my sweet spot. “Yeah. Yeah, it does.”
I dig my nails into his shoulders. “Alex,” I moan, trying to get off him. “Stop it, please.” It’s supposed to sound like a goddamn order, but comes out as desperate begging.
His hands glued to my ass, he tugs me against his chest. “I know you want me.” He kisses down my neck. “You always want me. Just admit it,” he says, pulling my shirt up.
I close my eyes. Hips rocking back and forth, I enjoy the feeling of the fabric rubbing against my heat. I do want him. Fuck, I need him, but he’s like a drug, makes you high and leaves you dry and boneless. “Alex, please…stop.”
“Just one night.” His husky voice makes my toes curl. “For the sake of old times. What do you say?”

Interview with Author Nadine Nightingale
Who is your favourite Author & what is it that really strikes you about their work?
That’s a tough question. There are so many authors I genuinely love I wouldn’t know where to start. I’ll try, though. Jennifer L. Armentrout because she writes brilliant, swoon-worthy characters. Penelope Douglas who is brave enough to publish books like Corrupt even though she knows some people will rant about the ‘morality’ of it. J.K. Rowling for never giving up and pushing through failure toward success. Colleen Hoover because she’s not just a brilliant storyteller, but also the Queen of Good Deeds. Tarryn Fisher, she’s got spirit and talent. Stephen King, because…Well, he’s Stephen ‘the master of horror’ King. Do I have to say more? I could literally go on forever. Long story short: the writing community consist of a whole lot of awesomeness and incredible talent. Most authors are kind, humble, and open-minded. That’s what makes them all my favorites.
What was your favourite chapter to write and why?
That would be Chapter 24. Amanda Bishop isn’t exactly your normal heroine. She really is arrogant, stab-worthy, and infuriating (I didn’t exaggerate in the blurb). But in this particular chapter you can see behind all that attitude, get a glimpse of the real her.

What was the most surprising things you’ve learned in writing your book?
Patience. I never thought I’d acquire that virtue, but you’d be surprised how much patience you’ll need when you start writing your first novel.

Do you ever experience writer’s block?
Every day when I’m facing a blank page. It’s incredibly hard to write the first sentence when you stare at a white screen. The best advice I ever got was to never stop writing at the end of a chapter. Just keep going. Write one sentence of the next chapter before you call it a day and when you come back you won’t have any difficulties. It works miracles.

What is the last book you read?
That would be Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. I can’t believe I didn’t start the series earlier. Shame on me!

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. with whom would it be?
I love my life, but if it’s just for a week, I would go with Natasha Romanoff. Who doesn’t want to be a kick-ass spy who hangs out with the rest of the Avengers, right?

What do you like to do when you're not writing?
If I’m not travelling the world, I’m reading, watching movies (preferably horror), hang with my friends and family, or pretend to work out.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Let’s see: an actress, a spy, a pilot, a dancer, a teacher, a flight attendant, a vet….I think it would be easier to say what I never wanted to be: a singer (my singing voice is a disaster).

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
Quentin Tarantino. I bet he looks hot in high-heels :D

Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?
Keep writing. Don’t ever stop. Write what you love. Believe in yourself, because if you don’t…no one else will. And READ as much as you can. You can’t be a writer if you aren’t a reader foremost.

Is there anything you’d like to say to your readers and fans?
Thank you for taking a chance on a new author. Thank you for spending your hard earned money on an unknown writer. Just…THANK YOU!

I would, but if my mom reads this I’m grounded for life :D I will tell you this, though, the story of my first kiss would make an awesome erotic… I mean romance novel ;)

Author Bio
Nadine aka Dini is a traveler at heart. She considers the world her home and practically lives out of her suitcases. When she’s not glaring at a blank page or abusing her poor keyboard, she spends her time reading, watching movies (preferably horror), pretends to work out, and hangs out with friends and family. Poor girl also suffers from a serious Marvel superhero addiction. So, if you run into her at night, wearing black, know she’s secretly dreaming of being the infamous Black Widow.
Her love for writing started in the sixth grade where she annoyed her classmates with a short story featuring Sailor Moon characters, a cemetery, and creepy ghosts. Yes, she’s always been addicted to the dark side. Nadine writes paranormal romance. Her debut novel “Karma” the first book in her paranormal romance series Drag.Me.To.Hell. is published by the Wild Rose Press.

DeleteHi,
ReplyDeletewhat comes first, the story line or the characters?
Hi Mary,
Deleteit very much depends on the book. But in Karma's case the characters came first :)
I liked the excerpt, thank you.
ReplyDeleteBook sounds great! Fun interview too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks <3
DeleteGreat interview! I always want to know...do you listen to music as you write? Does it inspire you?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura!
DeleteThe answer is 'yes'. I always listen to music when I'm writing. A good song makes me forget the world around me and helps me focus on scenes and emotions of the characters. Karma even has its own playlist :D
I hope you'll like it, Lily <3
ReplyDeleteOh I love how you started writing so early! Our little one loves to write stories! You said you love horror movies...what is your favorite?
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
Deleteit's almost impossible to pick just one, but I think Dawn of the Dead (the original version) is pretty much on top of the list :D
I would just like to say that you are a new author to me and I'm so happy I saw this post :) Will definetly check yoour books, they sound amazing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Irma :)
