  4. S.M. Reine has two series that came together in a merger and they are really great books. She also often offers the beginnings of the series for free for Kindle and it is a great way to get a taste of her writing.

  12. The Green Futures of Tycho by William Sleator :) It was one of my first science fiction books that I read as a kid and it blew my mind. It’s about the downside to messing with time travel :)
