"OFF WITH HIS HEAD!"
We all know the infamous Queen of Hearts and the terror she bestowed over Wonderland. It's a well known story we've either read the book or seen the movies.
Catherine had a dream that one day she would open her own bakery and
bake cakes and tarts for the whole of Hearts kingdom, but being the
daughter of a Marques her future was already being planned. But can you plan love? Love is something that just happens and no one or nothing can control it.
Marissa Meyer delves deep into the
heart of Wonderland, her creative writing caught me from start to
finish, I was swept up in a heartfelt story of a young women and
her fight to change her destiny. Knowing the original story I went in
knowing how it would end, still didn't make a difference my emotions
were in overdrive.
