As most of you know, even though Stacey and I have been working together for almost 2 years on this blog and have been friends for around 4 years, we have never actually met.
Until last month.
Stacey and I united in Sydney, Australia for the Harlequin Summit along with one of our other blogger friends, Katrina from Page Flipperz.

Although our time was limited, we packed a lot into the time we had. We went on a beautiful cruise through Sydney Harbour with amazing views of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. We forgot the sun block!
We went to the Darling Harbour Aquarium and danced with Michael Jackson at the Madame Tassuads wax museum.
Kat Stacey and I with Rachel. Please excuse my horrible Mummy Tummy! Horrible photo :(
Rachel is such a lovely person. Witty and smart with a sense of humor. She signed copies of her books for everyone who attended the summit.
She joined us after the summit at a local restaurant for a chat where we clued her in on some Aussie slang.
She is now aware of Budgie Smugglers!
She also mentioned to us about an exciting new project she is working on but sadly wasn't allowed to give us details.
We had an amazing time in Sydney together. It was my first time there and I loved every minute of it.
Which got me thinking.
We wanted to share a little of our adventure with you all somehow.
I picked up these bad boys while in Sydney and would love to share them. These are 24c gold plated Australian bookmarks and 3 lucky followers will get the chance to win 1 each.
How?
Simply comment on this blog post and tell us where in Australia you would like to visit and why. Please included your email address so we can contact you if you are a winner.
GOODLUCK!
Awesome girls!! It was a great time! I would love to visit Broome. Something about the sunsets and relaxed atmosphere. That would be awesome!

Looks like y'all had a blast! I love going to book events when they're in my area!
ReplyDeleteI think there is some place called Kangaroo Island out there somewhere. I'm a wildlife person and have heard that there are tons of animals and fun experiences there (if that's what it's called).

I would love to visit the whole country. I have never travelled overseas, so I would want to take in all that I could while I was there. Especially any of the cities that have bookstores! The next challenge would be to figure out how to get all my new treasures home. :) Thank you for this fabulous giveaway, you gals are awesome!!

I would love to visit the whole country but my first area of choice would probably be Queensland. I have always wanted to see the Great Barrier Reefs and all the gorgeous beaches.
